Tickets for this area are only sold by the stadium to ensure those purchasing the tickets are aware that it is a family area. No alcohol or smoking is permitted into this area.

Tickets go on sale to the public about a month to six weeks before a match. Tickets are available from the stadium as well as from Computicket. Prices and exact dates are available with the match ticket information.

For international matches the gates generally open two hours before the match is due to start. For domestic matches this is usually an hour before the game starts. Exceptions can be made for matches such as the Standard Bank Pro20 where the crowds are extremely large, and thus the gates are opened about two hours prior.

While this is quite a comprehensive list, the basic rules are no dangerous weapons, no cans or glass bottles as well as no horns or vuvuzelas. No gas braais are permitted into the stadium, but supporters are welcome to make use of the Cadac facility available near Memorial. Cooler boxes are permitted but these must be stored below your seat if you are in any of the pavilions. Spectators however, ARE PERMITTED to bring in their own food, cold drinks (plastic containers) and chairs are permitted if they are sitting on the grass embankment.

There are public braai areas near Western Pavilion. These may be used by the public braaing their own meat, or there is a facility to purchase meat from the Cadac Butchery.

Bidvest Wanderers attempts to reserve the use of a park in close proximity to the stadium on big match days. For prices and details please contact reception close to the relevant match.

Facilities are available for hire (availability dependent on cricket fixtures) including the famous Long Room. For prices and more details call our functions co-ordinator on 340 1500.

Courses are held regularly for new and advanced scorers. If details are unavailable in our scorers section please contact our associations co-ordinator on 340 1500

Representative teams are identified from U13 upwards. Talent is identified and encouraged from this point. Cricketers performing within the club leagues are also identified and encouraged to attend amateur net practices and possibly UCB Bowl matches. Once cricketers perform at this level they are considered for the provincial and franchise teams.

The Highveld Lions usually provide autograph opportunities after domestic matches at the Liberty Life Wanderers matches. It is not always possible to provide autographs during matches so we recommend that supporters make use of the opportunities after the match.

Simply e-mail general@cricketgauteng.co.za with your details and we will gladly include you in our communications.
